Interpretation and Calculation
revised 04/24/2001 SPECIAL NOTE: We recommend that you do not enter activity using the last day of the month. The last day of each month is a calculation/closing day and therefore should not be used. If you so decide to enter transactions on the last day, they will only be viewable on your reports when your report is run using the first day of the next period as your closing date. Reports Overview:
Unit mpg: unit miles driven/unit fuel purchased Fuel purchased is rounded by user's global fuel rounding value Mile tax $ amount: mile tax rate * unit miles driven Fuel consumed: unit miles/fleet mpg or unit miles/unit mpg Fuel consumed is then rounded by user's global fuel rounding value Fuel difference: rounded value of fuel purchased - rounded value of fuel consumed. Fuel tax amount: fuel consumed * (fuel rate1 + fuel rate2) - rounded
2 place(fuel purchased * fuel rate1)
